Soulash 2

Soulash 2 is a sandbox RPG roguelike set in a realm where the gods have died and a new era of strife has begun. It blends sandbox freedom, roleplaying and traditional roguelike design, leaving your goal genuinely open: seize power, forge legendary artifacts, conquer the world and ascend to the divine throne, or pursue something quieter.

Every world is procedurally generated with a simulated history. Settlements are shaped by trade routes, character lifecycles, resource extraction, food consumption, occupations, wages and the triumphs and tragedies of war, all unfolding before you arrive to write your own legacy. A skill-based progression system unlocks new abilities through whatever activities you pursue, so you can become an explorer, artisan, architect, pyromancer or warrior, or mix skills into your own path. A material-based crafting system lets you fit recipe slots with magical ingredients for items with unparalleled properties, and you can build anything from a forest hut to a black desert pyramid, bring families to work your fields and shops, and start a family of your own to pass the legacy on.

Three modes set the stakes. High Fantasy resurrects you at the nearest friendly location with penalties, Dark Fantasy erases your character but leaves the world and your creations intact for a new one, and Hardcore delivers true permadeath that wipes character and world alike.
