STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order is Respawn Entertainment's third-person action-adventure set between Episodes III and IV. You play Cal Kestis, a Padawan who survived the purge of Order 66 and has been hiding on Bracca as a scrapper, until the Empire's Inquisitors detect his Force use and the chase begins.

The combat system mixes Dark Souls-influenced lightsaber duels — striking, parrying, dodging, with stamina and posture mechanics — with Force powers earned over the campaign. Slow time, push, pull, and the eventual full toolkit interact with both combat and environmental puzzles, and enemy variety forces tactical adaptation rather than reflex repetition.

The narrative arc is Cal's reconstruction of his abilities and identity after years of hiding, supported by former Jedi Knight Cere Junda, the cantankerous pilot Greez Dritus, and fearless droid BD-1. Cinematic lightsaber and Force combat are designed to deliver the films' specific kind of choreographed Jedi battles.

Metroidvania-style traversal lets you revisit earlier biomes — ancient forests, windswept rock faces, haunted jungles — with new abilities to open previously inaccessible areas.
