About The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo
The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo is a surrealist point-and-click adventure built around absurd humor. Mr. Coo is stranded in a nonsensical world and, worse, broken apart, so reassembling himself means collecting his scattered pieces while making sense of chaotic monsters, malfunctioning robots, one-eyed ladies and at least one giant chicken. There may be a philosophical thread under all the nonsense, but the game is in no hurry to confirm it.
Everything is rendered in colorful, fully hand-drawn 2D cartoon animation, and the puzzles lean toward the inventive rather than the conventional. The result aims squarely at both genre veterans and newcomers.
Mr. Coo is the creation of Spanish artist Nacho Rodriguez, a 2D animator and director nominated for a Goya Award for his short film A lifestory and previously lead animator on Ubisoft's O.zen. The character had already starred in several short films before this adventure gave him a game of his own.
