About Tiny Combat Arena
Tiny Combat Arena is a labor-of-love combat flight simulator that splits the difference between full-fidelity sim and approachable arcade air combat. The stylised low-poly aesthetic suggests a fictional Cold War-era conflict, and the flight model takes its inspiration from simulation but adds depth where it makes gameplay better rather than just for accuracy's sake.
Quick Mission Builder lets you assemble missions on the fly — scenic flights, team-vs-team dogfights with the aircraft of your choice, ground-attack runs with friendly units to support. Each mission can be constructed and flown in minutes, which suits short play sessions.
Arena Mode is the strategic layer. A war is in progress across the map; you plan moves on the strategic chart, pick objectives, identify threats, choose units to support, and your sorties affect the war's outcome. Friendly armies and objectives play out around you regardless of where you fly.
The in-game database provides detailed stats on every vehicle, aircraft, and weapon, plus tactical guidance on how to fight different opponents and respond to different threats. Solo developer Why485 has been transparent about design decisions throughout development — the game prioritises the fun factor of flying, dogfighting, and close air support without sacrificing strategic depth.
