Total War EMPIRE – Definitive Edition

Empire: Total War — Definitive Edition collects every piece of content released for the 18th-century entry in the Total War series, including the Warpath Campaign for North American factions and three Elite Units packs (East, West, and America) that add over 50 historically-grounded special units.

The game introduced true 3D naval combat to the franchise. Single ships and entire fleets navigate seascapes where wind, water, and weather all affect tactical outcomes. Cannon volleys at range give way to grappling, boarding, and hand-to-hand combat on the decks of wooden ships. Battlefield combat on land transitioned to the gunpowder era — formations, line tactics, and the disciplined musket-and-cannon doctrine that defined the period.

The campaign map covers the riches of India, the political turbulence of Europe, and the colonial Americas, with new systems for trade, diplomacy, and espionage through agents. The Warpath Campaign adds five Native American factions — Iroquois, Huron, Plains, Pueblo, Cherokee — with their own units, technologies, and victory objectives, plus Shamans and Scout agents for tribal intrigue. Special Forces Units add HMS Victory, Rogers' Rangers, the USS Constitution, and other named historical entities.
