About Unholy Heights
Unholy Heights from Petit Depotto is a tower defense game wearing the skin of an apartment management sim. The Devil has converted a tenement into a residence for monsters. You play the landlord, recruiting tenants, charging rent, buying them furniture to keep them happy, and calling them out to fight heroes when the building comes under attack.
20+ monster species can move in. Each has personality traits — lazy, strong, perverted — and combat behaviors that affect both their tenancy and their usefulness in battles. Heroes attack the building periodically, and you knock on tenant doors to call them out, position them in pincer formations, and command troops in real time.
The sim layer runs in parallel with the tower defense. Tenants get jobs, fall in love, have children (often stronger than their parents), and sometimes skip out on rent. Erotic cakes set the mood for procreation, which is the polite way of describing the mechanic. Keep them happy or lose your army when the heroes show up.
Reputation builds with different monster families based on how you treat them, unlocking new species and furniture over time. Quests pace the campaign without forcing it. Lovingly hand-drawn 2D art, surprisingly dark humour, and the unusual genre-blend make it stand out from both the apartment-sim and TD shelves.
