About Unsorted Horror

Unsorted Horror is a collection of five short first-person horror experiences from solo developer Mert Kahveci, each running between ten and fifteen minutes and packaged behind a menu that mimics flipping through a stack of CD cases. You read the back of each case, pick the one whose synopsis catches your interest, and walk into a small, self-contained dystopian scenario centred on detailed machinery and the dread that builds around operating it under threat.

The five games span a deliberate range of register within the same general atmosphere. Tartarus Engine puts you and a small group of plucky technicians inside an ancient machine with a vulnerability that turns out to be much more than seemingly untapped. The Other Side hands you the controls of a jury-rigged drill as you try to secretly escape a corrupt bunker. Control Room Alpha sends you to pull data from a nest of spiders, the implications of which are intentionally bad. Carbon Steel charges you with hazardous research in an abandoned facility. Concrete Tremor is a game about plastic explosives and Soviet apartment buildings.

The shared design language across all five — close-up machinery interaction, deliberate pacing, lighting that prefers atmosphere over visibility, no UI clutter — gives the anthology a consistent feel even as the specific scenarios diverge. None of them outstays its welcome, and the format invites you to pick and choose based on which premise you're in the mood for, rather than committing to a single longer narrative. The whole thing fits comfortably into one evening.
