Shadow Warrior 2 continues the misadventures of Lo Wang, the former corporate shogun who now scrapes by as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world. Five years after he shattered the alliance between his deceitful old boss and the ancient gods of the shadow realm, his attempt to wipe out the darkness corrupted everything, creating a savage new order where humans and demons live side by side. When a simple job goes wrong, Lo Wang is pulled into a volatile conflict between a brilliant young scientist, his nemesis Orochi Zilla and the restless demonic forces loose in the world.

Combat blends blades and bullets across an arsenal of more than 70 weapons, from razor-sharp katanas, short swords, crescent blades and hand claws to a hellish array of ornate firearms. A brutal damage system lets you slice off limbs and heads with precision strikes or blow holes through colossal beasts with heavy ordnance, and a custom upgrade system slots up to three stones into a weapon for performance boosts or elemental effects.

The breach between realms left an interdimensional wound, so procedurally generated landscapes and paths bring fresh twists to once-familiar terrain. You can battle through the expansive campaign alone or team up online in four-player co-op, tackling primary missions and side quests while customizing armor, items and loot. The game is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog's series, which began with Shadow Warrior Classic.
