Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator Prologue

Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator: Prologue is the free prologue to the larger upcoming game, set in the late 1980s along the world's longest railway line. You operate the iconic VL10 locomotive — switchable between simplified and realistic controls and procedures — while managing the threats and routines of train life across a Soviet-era Russia.

Three game modes structure the experience. Develop a legitimate career as a train driver, fight for raw survival at any cost, or take a job for the Soviet mafia and discover the dark story of the railway underworld. Railway traffic requires obeying signs and signals to avoid derailments. Repairs and maintenance demand monitoring part wear and replacing components before disaster. The economy supports cargo transport, food, tools, parts, weapons, and trade in hunting trophies, meat, loot, and scrap.

The survival systems extend the realism. Manage hunger, thirst, illness, hypothermia, alcohol levels, and hangover to stay alive in conditions where blizzards, night, and fog affect visibility, and low temperatures can kill outright. Hunt, defend yourself, or rob travelers — the Militia keeps order, civilians defend their resources, and the full game promises 840 kilometers of 1:1-scale route. The prologue covers a smaller section through Novosibirsk.
