Cat Museum

Cat Museum is a surreal 2D side-scrolling puzzle adventure built around a museum that sits in the middle of nowhere, guarded by a mysterious cat. A boy unexpectedly inherits the role of caretaker and takes on the job of repairing the museum — finding hidden clues, solving strange puzzles, and dealing with his own constantly mischievous cat companion who makes everything take a little longer than it should.

The museum's collection is the visual signature of the game. Classical art is reimagined with a distinct, dreamlike artistic interpretation — recognizable paintings and sculptures appear with new context that places them inside the museum's broader mystery. Each piece doubles as a puzzle prompt, asking the boy to interact with it in ways the original artists couldn't have anticipated. The cat is more useful than its mischief suggests, intervening in puzzles in ways the protagonist can't manage alone.
