Diplomacy is Not an Option

Diplomacy is Not an Option is a base-building RTS about standing against vast enemy hordes, with more than 25,000 of them able to storm your castle on a single procedurally generated map. To survive you build fortifications, raise armies, and master engineering, economy, and even magic, an active-pause spell included.

Your king is a self-absorbed wastrel who has wrecked the country's economy, and the fallout lands on your feud, where peasants are revolting over unfair taxes. You can crush the rebellion or join it, but either road is long and bloody, crossing paths with the mysterious Sarranga tribe and an Undead faction that worships hard rock.

Every arrow, catapult stone, and airborne enemy is physically modeled, so towers, sightlines, gates, and kill-zones all matter, and badly placed fortifications can blunt your own plans. You must feed your people through farming, bury the dead to fend off plague, and balance greedy expansion against security while managing food, wood, stone, iron, and gold. Four modes, Endless, Story Campaign, Challenge, and Sandbox, plus a map editor give the medieval fantasy world plenty of room.
