Saviorless

Saviorless is a narrative-driven 2D platformer set in a stylish dark fantasy world, drawn and animated entirely by hand. A seasoned narrator has told this story countless times, yet no one has ever reached the miraculous land at its center, the forbidden Smiling Islands, home of the Saviors. You set out to change that.

The game moves between three playable characters, each with their own abilities and trials. Antar is a recklessly curious child who explores ancient ruins and solves puzzles while dodging the dangers around him. The Savior is Antar's fierce masked avatar, thrown into fast, unforgiving combat against bizarre enemies and bosses. Nento is a merciless hunter obsessed with control, willing to destroy anything, even his own followers, to seize the role of protagonist for himself.

Alongside the platforming, you collect scattered pages to complete the tale and uncover what keeps Antar from reaching the islands. Crumbling ruins and gloomy landscapes set a melancholy tone, carried by an atmospheric soundtrack, and the narrative itself eventually breaks in an unexpected direction.
