Terraformers

Terraformers is a turn-based colony builder where you terraform Mars from barren red to thriving green. Send your leaders to mysterious locations to uncover rich resource depots, giant crystal caves, and stunning natural wonders. Found new cities on craters and in lava tubes, growing them to meet rising population demands.

Progression draws from a roguelike card pool. Each turn proposes a random selection of project cards, and choosing buildings efficiently (alongside finding strong synergies between them) defines whether your cities turn into utopian metropolises, industrial settlements automated by robots, or something in between. The procedurally generated planet keeps each run distinct.

Geo-engineering reaches absurd scale. Restart a volcano, construct giant space mirrors, nuke the poles, plant full-grown forests with bears, or spread adaptive bacteria. Each life form carries specific requirements and provides strategic benefits, so the path from microbe to mammal-sized fauna is its own decision tree. The developers built the game to inspire humankind to become an interplanetary species starting with Mars.
